    3 AWARDS 4

    PC World Recommends

It comes with an intricate cooling system, which includes two large heat sinks connected by heat pipes, which move heat away from the chipset. A fan sits on that top heat sink and pushes cool air through its fins, but at a slow rate. In fact, this fan was barely audible at all during testing. This bodes well for those of you who want a quiet (almost silent), yet powerful graphics card for a living room or bedroom PC. We recommend it for those of you who want a relatively inexpensive card for playing games with high quality image details enabled.

    82 Very Good

Bottom Line: Good performance, quiet operation, and decent accessories make this card well worth considering for mainstream gaming.

    ExtremeTech Approved

“…If someone said they had a silently cooled Radeon X1600 XT card, I would expect it to perform exactly as every other X1600 XT card does – only silently. That's exactly what Sapphire delivered here.”
